Snapdragon 400

Orta segment telefonlarda kullanılacak olan Snapdragon 400, hem çift hem de dört çekirdekli sürümlerden oluşacak. Snapdragon 400'lerin çift çekirdekli modelleri Krait aSMP çekirdek tasarımını kullanacak ve çekirdek başına 1.7 GHz hızında çalışacak.

Dört çekirdekli Snapdragon 400 modelleri de ARM Cortex A7 mimarisiyle gelecek ve saat frekansı ise çekirdek başına 1.4 GHz olacak.
Snapdragon 400'ün işlemci çekirdeklerini bir kenara bıraktığımızda, grafik işlemci tarafında Adreno 305 GPU'sunun kullanıldığını görüyoruz. Çipset içerisindeki diğer yeniliklerden en önemlisi Miracast Wireless Display Technology olarak görülüyor. Android 4.2 ile beraber gelen bu destek sayesinde Wireless üzerinden görüntü aktarımı yapılabiliyor.
Ortalama bir akıllı telefon için Snapdragon 400 çok iyi bir seçim gibi gözüküyor. Hem az güç tüketimi hem de yeterli performansının yanında, zengin modem ve ses seçeneklerini bir bütün olarak bizlere sunuyor olması çipsetin en büyük avantajı.
